Iron oxide desulfurization is a brownish-yellow granular high-efficiency room-temperature desulfurization agent processed and shaped by taking iron oxide as the main active component and adding a variety of different accelerators, which has the features of large sulfur capacity, high purity, high strength, no sludging in contact with water, easy to regenerate, and fast recovery of activity, etc. It is able to remove hydrogen sulfide with high precision even under the harsh conditions of no oxygen and no ammonia.
The product can be used for the removal of H2S from semi-water gas, water gas, coke oven gas, natural gas, biogas, petrochemical and fertilizer production in the conversion gas, CO2regeneration and other gases.
desulphurization:Fe2O3·XH2O+H2S→Fe2S3·XH2O+H2O
regeneration:Fe2S3·H2O+O2→Fe2O3·H2O+S
If the ratio of the number of O2 molecules to the number of H2S molecules in the gas is greater than 3, the above desulfurization and regeneration reactions can be carried out simultaneously.
